Rocky Mountain Div. East (Milwaukee Road) it appears that all versions & updates are to be cut, Please keep these.
Jerry, I've moved everything you worked on back into the active MSTS category, but admittedly there does appear to be a bunch of duplication and overlap here that perhaps you can comment on.

    1. RMD 1st Div (2007) was listed for removal (presumed replaced by RMD East in 2010) and has been moved back into the safe zone.
    2. RMD 2nd Div (2004) is not listed for removal
    3. RMD 3rd Div (2009) is not listed for removal
    4. RMD 4th Div (2005) is not listed for removal
    5. Wallace Branch (2004) is not listed for removal

    6. RMD West (2016) Parts 1-4 is not listed for removal
    7. RMD East (2010) Parts 1-6 is not listed for removal
    8. Idaho Div (2020) Parts 1-9 is not listed for removal
    9. Idaho Div (2014) was flagged for removal. It is back in the safe zone.
    10. Coast Div (2016) Parts 1-6 is not listed for removal

    11. Black Canyon V1 (3-14-2016) is not listed for removal.
    12. Black Canyon V2 (3-20-2016) is not listed for removal. I'd think that V1 could be safely removed.

    13. Hook and Eye V1 (2008) was tagged for removal. It's back in the safe zone.
    14. Hook and Eye v2 (2015)is not listed for removal

    15. CSX Kingsport (2005) Parts 1-5 are not being removed

    16. CSX Blue Ridge Sub: (9-9-2002) is flagged for removal. It's back in the safe zone.
    17. CSX Blue Ridge Sub: (9-13-2002) with signal improvements by Claude Debnam.

    Let's keep estarcab_v3.zip

This is one of the better cabview files for the Eurostar trains.

Also I'd like to ask for the CSX M&M and Western Atlantic routes to be saved.

    Thanks.

The cabview is safe. Both the M&M and WA fall into versioning a year apart.

CSX Western Atlantic has a v2.3 (2009) and a v2.0 (2008). The 2009 update was done by Kevin Howell with Jerry Conway's blessing.

CSX Meridian and Mobile has a 2005 version that added the PA/PD Subs, and the original from 2004, both by Terry Dickerson.

Shouldn't the 2005 M&M and the 2009 WA be sufficient?

We've seen a lot of routes issued just to be expanded a year later. I can see it if they're separate works a year or two apart, but these are clear derivatives of the earlier version.

There are some routes which need to be unlisted and kept in the Library from "Removal Candidates - Routes" as I know these routes and their owners very well and don't have any previous or new versions.

    Cool

    You can remove these items:
    RMD 1st Div (2007)
    RMD 2nd Div (2004)
    RMD 3rd Div (2009)
    RMD 4th Div (2005)

These were replaced when Lukas Lussar combined the 1st & 2nd divisions to make the RMD-EAST and when
he combined the 3rd & 4th divisions to make the RMD-WEST.

The Wallace Branch (wallace.zip) can be removed. It was later included in the RMD 4th Div. which then became
    part of the RMD-West itself.

Black Canyon, both versions, can be removed. This was a piece of a route I did for Don Karch so
he could do the Gunnison to Montrose line, so it is now part of the Colorado Mega Route.

The 2008 version of the Hook & Eye is fullly MSTS compatible while the 2015 version runs much
better on ORTS. Both versions should be kept - I didn't do the 2015 version.

Blue Ridge Sub. 9-9-2002 version can be removed. Keep the 9-13-2002. It is the same as the
9-9-2002 version except signals are better.

    Kingsport Sub. should be kept.

As I create new routes, and if a route is a workover of some previous route I will make this known
when I upload it so that the site manager can keep disc usage in check. For example I have a route
in the library now that should be superceded later this year and if so, at that time I will recommend
removal of the earlier version. In that case the new version will be identical in part to the older
version but will have more main and branches added so it will be about twice the size of the earlier
version. In a case like that it makes no sense to keep an old route.

I checked and the two Idaho Division route sets are not the same. The later version is ORTS only
but needs more completed scenery. That is not my route. The earlier one is mine and will work
on either MSTS or ORTS. Both versions should be kept.

For those who noticed, the downloads were broken for a couple hours this morning -- that's been resolved.

    Eolesen,

There is a file in the library that refers to the Black Canyon being added to Don Karch route in 2017. That one was superceded by the 2019 version of the Colorado Mega Route that I completed after Don passed away. You can delete the 2017 file. There are two files that refer to a seperate version of the Black Canyon, but since the Mega Route has been completed those are redundant too and can be dropped.
