So let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet, to see the king of the potato people... and plead with him for your freedom, and you're telling me you're completely sane?
Well, you got me wondering what it would look like...

Pennsy/NYC is just fine...looks real good...you put that together pretty quick...getting very proficient with blender. Everything I've read about blender is that it has a learning curve..but it's worth it.
Cheers, Gerry
It's my railroad and I'll do what I want! Historically accurate attitude of US Railroad Barons.
Forever, ridin' drag in railroad knowledge.
I think you are getting what Scott and I have been saying. Once you practice with it for a bit... it gets relatively easy and especially quick when you want to try out new ideas. Blender also allows you to save Library items ( sort of like you could do with 3D CANVAS) where you can have pre-built parts you commonly use within "arms reach". So, things like trucks, couplers, ladders end grabs, lift bars, etc are already modeled and ready to place on what you are making.
My model may not be 100% accurate, but I've yet to see a lot of consistency in Autoracks... so I'm not letting that stop me from some kitbashing freestyle work.
Blender, being free and now VERY popular, is really the best answer to creating game assets. It may not be what it is designed for, but it's really good at it. Anytime you run into a roadblock, there are tons of answers out there on the net on how to solve it.
Now with a LOGO plate...

Would be interested in seeing some AO smith auto frame flats as they were a staple on Milwaukee trains across Iowa. As well as use able 4 bay hoppers (CNW 49x series )
