Thanks again Vern, understand now buddy.

Agree a proper account with a purchase record is the ideal solution. I have all the files on the pc, but as you say. If there is more than one pack, it makes it harder to know if the loco or piece of rollingstock. Is actually in the pack or packs you own.

If you go into the TMU you'll see what you own or don't own by the colors (at least the various pieces of rolling stock). Of course you then have to find out what packs they belong to but the descriptions are pretty good.

    Thanks

Thanks Sean. It's still a bit of a workaround but will help buying the correct pack that has the most cars to kick off the placeholders.

I did have a friend say he would have bought more if the process was easier.

Also ordering from outside the US, you get hit with your banks Debit/Credit card exchange fee for each transaction with the one at a time order system. It was probably adequate in the early days of the sim, but now it has grown with so much content both to buy and keep track of, they need something better.

Some graphical improvements would be nice to a point. I don't need TSW quality. 3dtrainstuff made plenty of other content for MSTS. Surprised it all didn't make it over to run8. 1950s equipment. SD9s. etc. My biggest gripe is sounds, but luckily the people who make mods have filled that void almost.

Like several others here, I'd appreciate a 'shopping cart' in the store that can allow me to purchase a few items at one time. The only other thing I can think of is an option for brighter track signal lights (for geezer eyes ).

Thought of a couple more things...(I have the family braincell today!)

    -A multiplayer server lobby

-allow the NPC crews in multiplayer, at least until another player takes the position- anytime I start a listen server my conductor gets abducted by aliens and, well, who else is gonna do the head-bob of nodding off?

-a few more NPC actions, like stretching, yawning? Maybe allow the conductors head to look around while seated in the GP40's...he has this creepy stare and looks straight at ya while you're operating...man doesn't even blink.

    Thanks for considering.

A component for hosting multiplayer sessions that doesn't need the expense of a Windows server. Windows VPS's are very very costly compared to a Linux VPS, and probably more prone to security flaws.
