Will be disappointing to see the KCS Southern Belle scheme go away though.

I just find it laughable and ironic the STB and FRA have been after the big guys to get back to reality of railroading with better safety, etc, but then turn and give the approval for CSXT to buy Pan Am, for BNSF to take over the MRL lease, and now CP to merge with KCS. Kind of bizarre to see actually.. you'd think denying them instead of giving them what they want, would put them in their places.. shrugs.
I aagree Shawn loosing the Southern Belle paint scheme will be the biggest disappointment

I think it would be a fantastic idea after all our hobby is railroading but just in virtual reality. It could offer a platform that would keep unecessary clutter from any given topic MSTS, OR, Run8, Trainz, etc

Trains Newswire is reporting that CPKC will begin operations on April 14. That's four weeks from today.
They also named 11 top executives (in addition to the president), all but 3 of them from CP.

The CP-KCS merger became effective today, and the new logo was unveiled.
It includes a Mapleleaf, and a Beaver.

I hope that isn't the final design. Maybe after a little time, they'll revisit it. Seems kind of lazy...

I do also hope that logo isn’t final, feel like there needs to be some part to represent the KCS side other than just the KCS and KCSM on the top (since it’s essentially just an edited version of the CP logo).
Maybe they could bring a version of the “dual flags” livery back.

And to think we all missed out on Canadian National New Orleans (CNNO). We are all poorer for it.
