What are you having trouble with?

The NECv4 should create its own directory under your Routes folder, and then executes a batch file to execute. If that's not working, you probably don't have the original routes installed. That's a prerequisite for older routes. Newer routes don't reuse the MSTS objects.

For equipment packs, there should be .CON files to go into your Trains/Consists folder, and a folder with the shapes and textures to go into your Trains/Trainset folder.

If you're having trouble, try including screenshots of where your errors are happening.

MSTS is like a box of Legos with minimal instructions... it might take some trial and error.

This is why I resurrected the tutorials.....

There's a tutorial with pictures for taking screenshots.

    There's a tutorial for installing add-ons.

As our friend Vince (who created the NECv4) used to say..... RTFM.... translated as read the "friendly" manual.

Screen Shots How to needs updating: Win10 &11 have an app named Snipping Tool. With it one can take full or partial screen shots. Save to JPG and upload to TS. Just press the Keyboard Windows key and type "snip" and the app will be listed.

And RTFM means read the FINE manual. At least that was what I was told when I was in the Army.

Pretty much every modern version of windows has a screenshot function built in - without any need for a 'tool'.

Just hold down the windows key and hit PRNT SCRN key. Inside or outside of game, screenshot goes to your C:\Pictues\Screenshots folder.
