Awesome work, Shawn. Looking forward to some of these in the library very soon! But take your time on these freight sets.

Folks,
I will focus on the GMTX GP40-2's and get those released. Those seem to be pretty popular by the feedback on here. I'll also release the BNSF and MRL units. I may add a few more numbers to the MRL units first, that way the more the better for future activities on the Mullan.
I also would like to release this unit, as well as a couple others. Granted it's fictional and there currently isn't a route available for them to run on, as the WMRC operates the former Maine Central Mountain Division line, but, this unit is dedicated to a co-worker that recently passed. It's the best way to continue his memory and legacy in the railroad world.
I have a couple more dedicated units I may add into the mix.
The paint work on these units were done by Brody Wyrick, and I do have his full permission to release them on here.
Lastly, these items probably won't be released all as once as a mega pack like before. I think this time around I am going to finish and release what I can when I can, with possibilities of adding a few more cars or engines to the initial releases. I think the issue I had with the big packs is, pushing myself to finish them, package them, and release them, to the point of burning myself out.

As always, life before train-sim. Your work and generosity are top notch!!
That is true, however, there will always be goals in ORTS I would like to achieve, and at the age of 34, I'd like to finish off some of those goals before I call it quits for good. I say that, because the co-worker that recently passed, was only 48 years old. He achieved a lot of goals in his life, but still too young to be gone already. He will be deeply missed in the railroad community in New England.
So, I noticed the other day when I booted up the BNSF Seligman Sub route, that I had a pair of BNSF GP40M's. With that, I was able to snag the nose off one of the units, to finish, edit, and tweak the GMTX GP40N units. Now, the only thing left is a small mapping issue on the engineers side (the panel next to the steps, fully blue versus black, but if I paint it black, then the conductors side would be incorrect. To me, I don't care, majority of the time I spend inside the cab anyways. 3052 has nose headlights, so that one may get kicked to the side for now. The other thing, front ditch lights don't match the real units. Which again, I don't care too much on this. These adjustments would require some shape editing and freight animation, but to be fair, I have zero interest in doing those. I burnt myself out on that a long time ago when I did those GMTX GP38-2's..
As I mentioned, some of these units came with RDMT units paired with them, However it appears they would need some work. They had an odd number board section above the windows. These too would require some F/A and shape editing as well.. so maybe I'll turn these away..

The finished nose: (looks like I need to paint the A/C units black)

Well, I ended up doing the 955, 958 and 959 units as well, and the final touches to the 3050, 3501 and 3055.
I didn't edit the engine files to the 900 units except remove the smoke to make them look like they actually are RDMT's. On my end I did set up the sounds to basically give off everything except the prime mover sounds, however this will be up to the end user.
These should be ready to be uploaded this week.

Here at home, in the railroad mayhem capital of the world.
The BNSF D9-44CW's and the single MRL SD40-2XR have been uploaded to the library.

And they've been approved as well.... Thank you Shawn for testing our super secret new feature that he broke on the first try.![]()
