Default ontario northern: folder "world" missing

    Hello everyone,

Let me first apologize for my poor English...

I have to disturb because I got a problem with the Ontario Northern route. I downloaded the file whose size is 182,393,797 uploaded on 08-06-2022 (onr-1.zip) and the one whose size is 464,081 uploaded on 05-30-2022 (onr_rrs.zip) for the rolling stock. However, the ONR file is missing the "world" folder which I can't find.

Where can I download it? Do I have to download all 8 files that I find on the site by searching for "Ontario Northland"?? I searched the discussions on the site but I didn't understand much due to my poor knowledge of the English language. What can I do? Can you help me?
    Thanks in advance.

Your Problem is caused by how the files were zipped. The file onr-1.zip is organized like this: The Root contains one folder named ORN and that folder contains the .diz, .txt & .jpg files and a second folder also named "ORN". It is this second ORN folder that contains the ORN Route and what should be copied into your Routes folder. In the ZIP the World files are packed in this location ONR/ONR/WORLD/.

I also noticed that the consists for the ORN activities are packed into
ONR/ONR/ACTIVITIES/Consists/, so once you get the route installed you need to copy the files in (your install)/Routes/ONR/ACTIVITIES/Consists/ folder to the (your install)\Trains\Consists folder.

Hi patric, There is a "World" folder in onr-1.zip, it is listed in the "view" selection in the library and it is included in the zip file. If you choose the "extract" command for the zip file --- an "ONR" folder will be extracted --- within that folder is the actual "ONR" route folder which contains all the necessary folders for the route...including the World folder. Looks like you have a bad download or something went wrong with the opening/extraction of the zip file.

Charles got it while I was taking my screenshots...my first use of the snip tool, Charles, never tried it before, always used Bandicam for screenshots. Snip works fine, have to figure out how to get a shortcut to it on the desktop.
    Cheers, Gerry

When Sniping Tool is open right click on icon on taskbar and choose Add to Start menu or Add to Taskbar

Hi all, let me first say thanks a lot !!! I didn't realize that there was another folder inside there. Now everything runs ok.

Should anyone be interested in in the Italian routes (Italy is a very mountainous country), just ask: it will be a pleasure to answer you.

    Have a nice day!

I use Winzip to compress my folders, they have always put whatever I'm zipping into another folder with the same name. You might also want to check for the folder in a folder issue fr any rolling stock you've downloaded.
